Assess a soccer player by looking at more than athleticism or isolated technical drills. Review match actions such as scanning, positioning, first touch, passing choices, defensive reactions, movement off the ball, and responses under pressure. Film review adds valuable context because it shows why a decision was made. A useful assessment should identify strengths, development priorities, and specific next steps for training.
